·        Write a sequence using time/order words

·        Organize a sequence chronologically

·        Identify the steps in a sequence to complete a process

·        Order a sequence in terms of most expensive and least expensive

1. Go to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services web site at http://www.uscis.gov.

2. Click on the Forms link at the top of the page. Scroll down to review the list of forms.

3. Select three forms with form numbers that begin with the letter I. Write the form numbers here: ________________________________________________________________________

4. In the chart below, list the forms in order of their cost. List the forms from the least to the most expensive.

5. Go back to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services home page at http://www.uscis.gov.

6. Click on About US at the top of the page. Click on the Reports and Studies link from the left-hand menu.

7. Under Office of Policy and Strategy Report Series, click on the Citizenship in the U.S. (May 2004) link to open the PDF file.

8. Scroll to the section entitled The Process of Becoming a U.S. Citizen, and find The Naturalization Process. Write three steps to become a U.S. citizen using the words First, Next, and Next (or Last if it is the last step in the process) below. Include a brief description of each step.

9. Go back to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services home page at http://www.uscis.gov.

10. Click on the Services & Benefits link at the top of the page. From the left-hand menu, click on Adoption.

11. Click on the Adoption of Orphans (Non-Hague) link. Next, scroll down the page and under General Information, click on How Do I Apply to Bring a Foreign-Born Orphan to the United States.

12. Read the paragraph under Who is eligible to file an orphan petition? In their proper order, write two steps required to bring foreign-born orphans to the United States here:
