Sound Sentences I

This highly interactive program develops everyday and colloquial language in a format that requires no computer skills. Learners are immediately immersed in reading, listening and speaking activities that use proven language development techniques. Based on CASAS competencies, each lesson provides graphics, text and voice in a sequential presentation that ensures success for even the most limited English proficient learners.

These learner-centered programs break away from traditional language instruction. Students are immediately involved with everyday language and colloquialisms that they will use in real-life situations.

As students listen, read and speak, they are reinforcing their knowledge of sentence structure and acquiring the ability to communicate in daily settings.

Students hear a main sentence accompanied by an appropriate graphic pertaining to the topic. The sentences form a story. Students are then challenged by a wide variety of activities that build upon the basic sentence.
