Based on the SCANS competencies, this program offers realistic scenarios and dialogues to help develop work ethics and reading comprehension. Each story sets the scene for a real-life dilemma that working people might face. Students choose what the main character should do in a variety of difficult situations, and then they learn the ramifications of that choice. An on-line dictionary provides clear, content-sensitive definitions of higher-level vocabulary.
